4A Boys Soccer: Quarterfinals Clashes See Four Advance to Semifinals

AURORA – The quarterfinals of the CHSAA 4A Boys Soccer State Championships were played Saturday, with four winners advancing to the semifinals.

No. 12 Cheyenne Mountain continued its postseason run with a 2-0 victory over No. 13 Evergreen to reach the final four, and No. 6 Greeley Central also broke through with a 2-1 victory against Battle Mountain. No. 1 Mullen and No. 2 Silver Creek complete the field.

The semifinals are Wednesday, and will be played at Trailblazer Stadium in Lakewood.

All four championship games are scheduled to be played at Weidner Field in Colorado Springs on Saturday, Nov. 15. The 2A final will be at 9 a.m., followed by the 3A final at noon, the 4A final at 3 p.m. and the 5A final at 6 p.m.
